This is my new passion. Acai bowls. I can’t even pronounce acai, but these are delicious, healthy, easy to make, and did I mention delicious?
Here is my latest recipe for an Acai bowl that I tried. I took several recipes and mixed and matched so my favorite ingredients were here. One thing to remember….you can pretty much put anything you want into the bowl with the Acai base. As long as you like it, go for it!
Acai Bowl Recipe
Let’s start with the Acai base. The best way to get this is to get the frozen puree and put it in a blender with a banana, a handful of frozen berries, some coconut water or almond milk(about 2/3 cup), a couple of Tablespoons of rolled oats, a Tablespoon of honey and blend until it’s like a smoothie.
Then take your most favorite fruit cut up, granola, chia seeds and anything else you like and put it on the bottom, acai on top and then garnish with some more yumminess and enjoy!
